Befindet man sich drinnen, wird die Wahrnehmung des normalen Zeitflusses mit dem einzigartigen Rhythmus der Maschinen, den Verfahren und Ritualen aus einer anderen Zeit vermischt.
Gegründet wurde die Werkstatt Offizin S. im Jahr 1985 und ist Büchern und Drucken in niedriger Auflage gewidmet, welche mit einer Linotype, einer Maschine für die mechanische Zusammensetzung der Druckzeilen produziert werden oder sogar von Hand gesetzt werden. Es ist ein Ort mit einer einzigartigen Atmosphäre, wo Geräusche, Gerüche und Bilder uns in eine Welt verführen, welche der Geschwindigkeit und Automatisierung unserer Gegenwart widersteht.
Zusammen mit Åbäke besuchte BAU Siegfried Höllrigl in der Offizin S. im Rahmen des Projektes BAU bekommt ein Gewand und wenn dafür Schafe geschoren werden, dann sei dem so.
