Künstler Kollektiv

INLAND, gegründet vom spanischen Künstler Fernando Garcìa-Dory, basiert auf einer Art drei Wort Manifest Kunst-Landwirtschaft-Territorium. Es zeigt neue Wege auf, wo sich Agrikultur, soziale und kulturelle Produktion treffen. Organisatorische Strukturen werden dabei als an sich ästhetische Elemente wahrgenommen. Zentral bei INLANDs vielseitigen Aktivitäten sind Bildung und Wissensaustausch; so gibt es zum Beispiel das Projekt ‘shepherd school’ (2004-laufend), eine Schäferschule, a World Alliance of Nomads (eine weltweite Allianz der Nomaden) und das Herstellen von Publikationen oder Wein. INLAND Projekte wurden in international renommierten Institutionen präsentiert, wie zum Beispiel Matadero Art Centre (Madrid, 2013), Casco Projects (Utrecht, 2015), PAV (Turin, 2015), Istanbul Biennale (2015), Arts Maebashi ( Japan, 2016) oder MALBA (Buenos Aires, 2017). INLAND fördert die Bildung von Zellen in spezifischen ländlichen Orten- manche davon werden nicht bekannt gegeben- gleichzeitig agiert das Kollektiv auf einer supranationalen Ebene. Es wendet dabei seine Methodologie in unterschiedlichen Ländern an, um die Rahmenbedingungen der Agrar- und Kulturpolitik in Europa zu beeinflussen, wie erst kürzlich in Schottland und Holland geschehen.

INLAND realisiert ALMA während ihrer Residency mit BAU In Südtirol, 6-17 Mai 2017. Das Projekt wird im September im Rahmen des Festival Transart präsentiert.

Artist Collective

INLAND, founded by the Spanish artist Fernando Garcìa-Dory, is based on a three word manifesto, art-agriculture-territory, and proposes new ways of encouraging agriculture and social and cultural production to meet. This convergence allows for social and organizational structures themselves to be seen as aesthetic objects. This goes from setting up a Shepherd School, a world Alliance of Nomads, publishing books or producing wine, to exhibitions of commissioned projects with institutions such as Matadero Art Centre (Madrid, 2013), Casco Projects (Utrecht, 2015), PAV (Torino, 2015), Istanbul Biennale (2015), Arts Maebashi (Japan, 2016) or MALBA ( Buenos Aires, 2017). INLAND promotes cells in specific rural locations – some of which remain undisclosed – whilst operating at a supranational level, extending its methodology to different countries to affect agrarian and cultural policy frameworks in Europe, as done recently in Scotland and Holland.

INLAND realises the visual script ALMA  during their residency with BAU in South Tyrol, 6 – 17 May 2017. ALMA will be presented in the framework of Festival Transart in Bolzano in September.

Collettivo d’artisti

Basato su una sorta di manifesto in tre parole, arte-agricoltura-territorio, il collettivo INLAND, fondato dall’artista spagnolo Fernando Garcìa-Dory,  propone nuovi punti d’incontro tra agricoltura e produzione socio-culturale, affinché (infra)strutture sociali e organizzative possano essere percepite come oggetti estetici. La pratica di INLAND può tradursi nella creazione di una scuola per pastori nelle montagne dell’Asturia, la World Nomads Alliance (alleanza mondeale dei nomadi), nella pubblicazione di libri o vino e nella realizzazione di mostre e progetti commissionati da istituzioni come Matadero Art Centre (Madrid, 2013), Casco Projects (Utrecht, 2015), PAV (Torino, 2015), Istanbul Biennale (2015), Arts Maebashi (Giappone, 2016) o MALBA (Buenos Aires, 2017). INLAND dissemina e promuove cellule operative in luoghi rurali specifici- alcuni dei quali non vengono resi noti. Al contempo opera a livello sovranazionale, applicando la propria metodologia in diversi paesi al fine di avere un impatto sulle condizioni delle politiche agricole e culturali in Europa, come di recente in Scozia e Olanda.

Durante la residenza con BAU in Alto Adige dal 6 al 17 maggio 2017 INLAND realizza lo script visivo ALMA che sarà presentato a settembre nell’ambito del Festival Transart a Bolzano.
