Grafikdesignerin und Illustratorin
Claudia Polizzi ist Grafikdesignerin und Illustratorin mit einer großartigen visuellen Sensibilität und Kreativität. In Neapel geboren und in Rom aufgewachsen, lebt sie seit 2011 in Bozen.
Seit 2022 arbeitet sie mit den Kuratorinnen von BAU an der Forschung zum verstorbenen Künstler Sven Sachsalber, einem von Museion in Auftrag gegebenen Projekt. Gemeinsam entstanden zwei Publikationen (Research Phase 1, 2022; Sven Sachsalber: Mappare una pratica artistica, 2025) sowie eine Ausstellung der Arbeiten von Sven Sachsalber (5. Dezember 2025 – 21. Juni 2026) in den Räumen von Museion eröffnet wurde. Mit großer Sorgfalt trug die gemeinsam mit den Kuratorinnen entwickelte gestalterische Arbeit dazu bei, ein sich im Entstehen befindliches Künstlerarchiv zu gestalten, das offen für neue Erzählungen und Perspektiven bleibt.
Im Jahr 2023 arbeitete sie erneut mit BAU anlässlich der Ausstellung zum Nachlass von Christian Martinelli bei Merano Arte, für die sie das Ausstellungskonzept gestaltete und den Katalog realisierte.
Claudia studierte Grafikdesign und visuelle Kommunikation am ISIA Urbino, wo sie derzeit auch als Dozentin tätig ist. 2017 gründete sie nach jahrelanger Erfahrung ihr eigenes Studio, Claudia Polizzi Graphic Design Studio, das sich auf visuelle Identitäten, Ausstellungsdesign und Editorial Design spezialisiert und mit Museen sowie kulturellen Institutionen zusammenarbeitet.
Graphic designer and illustrator
Claudia Polizzi is a graphic designer and illustrator with an engaging visual sensibility and creativity. Born in Naples and raised in Rome, she moved to Bolzano in 2011.
Since 2022, has been working closely with the curators of BAU on research about the late artist Sven Sachsalber, a project commissioned by Museion. Together they produced two publications (Research Phase 1, 2022; Sven Sachsalber: Mappare una pratica artistica, 2025) as well as an exhibition of Sven Sachsalber’s work 5 December 2025 – 21 June 2026) at Museion. With great thoughtfulness, the graphic work developed in collaboration with the curators helped shape an evolving artist archive, conceived to remain open to new narratives and perspectives.
In 2023, she collaborated with BAU on the exhibition dedicated to the legacy of Christian Martinelli at Merano Arte, for which she curated the exhibition design and produced the catalogue.
Claudia trained in graphic design and visual communication at ISIA Urbino, where she is currently also a lecturer. In 2017, after years of experience, she founded her own studio, Claudia Polizzi Graphic Design Studio, specializing in visual identities, exhibition design, and editorial design, collaborating with museums and cultural spaces.

Graphic designer e illustratrice
Claudia Polizzi è una graphic designer e illustratrice con una sensibilità e creatività visiva coinvolgente. Nata a Napoli e cresciuta a Roma si è trasferita a Bolzano nel 2011.
Dal 2022, ha collaborato a stretto contatto con le curatrici di BAU per la ricerca sull’artista scomparso Sven Sachsalber, un progetto commissionato da Museion. Insieme hanno realizzato due pubblicazioni (Research Phase 1, 2022; Sven Sachsalber: Mappare una pratica artistica, 2025) e una mostra dei lavori di Sven Sachsalber (5 dicembre 2025 – 21 giugno 2026) negli spazi di Museion. Con grande cura, il lavoro grafico sviluppato insieme alle curatrici ha contribuito a dare forma a un archivio d’artista in divenire, pensato per restare aperto a nuovi racconti e prospettive.
Nel 2023 collabora nuovamente con BAU in occasione della mostra dedicata al lascito di Christian Martinelli a Merano Arte, per la quale cura l’exhibition design e realizza il catalogo.
Claudia si è formata in grafica e comunicazione visiva all’ISIA di Urbino dove attualmente è anche docente. Nel 2017, dopo anni di esperienza, fonda il proprio studio, Claudia Polizzi Graphic Design Studio, specializzato in identità visive, exhibition design e grafica editoriale, collaborando con musei e spazi culturali.
