Künstler
Manuel Pelmuş (1974, RO) und Alexandra Pirici (1982, RO) leben und arbeiten als Künstlerduo in Bukarest. Ihre Projekte befassen sich häufig mit dem Kontext von Museen und Institutionen. Bei der 56. Biennale Venedig (2013) bespielten sie den rumänischen Pavillon mit der Performance An Immaterial Retrospective of the Venice Biennale. Zuletzt waren ihre Werke im Oratorium S.Filippo Neri im Rahmen von ON, Bologna (2015), Centre Pompidou, Paris ( 2014), und im Van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven (2014), zu sehen.
Auf Einladung von BAU realisierten Manuel Pelmuş und Alexandra Pirici das Projekt Untitled im Rahmen von Art & Nature 2016.

Manuel Pelmuş (1974, RO) and Alexandra Pirici (1982, RO) are a duo of artists based in Bucharest. They develop projects which often address the context of public museums and institutions. They represented the Romanian Pavilion at the 56th Venice Biennale (2013) with the piece An Immaterial Retrospective of the Venice Biennale, and recently showed their work at the Oratorio S.Filippo Neri, ON, Bologna (2015); Centre Pompidou, Paris (2014); and Van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven (2014).

Invitati a rappresentare il Padiglione della Romania alla Biennale di Venezia (2013) con l’opera An Immaterial Retrospective of the Venice Biennale, hanno di recente presentato il loro lavoro all’Oratorio S. Filippo Neri, ON (2015) Bologna, al Centre Pompidou, Parigi (2014) e al Van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven (2014).
