Nach mehreren Rechercheaufenthalten vor Ort präsentiert Nico Angiuli FUTURA, eine kollektive Performance zur Lieferkette des Apfels. Gemeinsam mit SchauspielerInnen, BauerInnen und Interessierten aus Terlan und Umgebung wird die Lieferkette des Apfels – von hybridisieren, ausdünnen, ernten, kalibrieren, sortieren bis vermarkten, kaufen und essen – performativ dargestellt. Wie haben sich Bewegungsabläufe in der Apfelproduktion im Laufe der Geschichte in Folge von technischen, chemischen und ökonomischen Innovationen verändert?
FUTURA ist Teil von The Tools’ Dance, ein Rechercheprojekt (seit 2010), das die Bewegungsabläufe bei der landwirtschaftlichen Arbeit performativ untersucht und bereits mit Tomaten, Tabak, Oliven und Wein in Spanien, Albanien und Italien ausgeführt wurde. Mit FUTURA erweitert sich das The Tools’ Dance Archiv um die Recherche der Lieferkette des Apfels 2018 mit BAU in Terlan.
In Zusammenarbeit mit Transart Festival gab es im September 2018 ein „Nachspiel“ des Projektes FUTURA, bei dem BAU im Stadtmuseum Bozen zu Mittagstischen am 13., 20., und 27. September 2018 mit dem Themenschwerpunkt Apfel einlud.

Nico Angiuli (*1981) lebt und arbeitet als Künstler in Italien und Albanien. In seinen Performances, kollektiven Projekten und Filmen untersucht er die Beziehung zwischen Arbeit und Technologie.
Im Anschluss an FUTURA empfiehlt BAU die Eröffnung von Yorgos Sapountzis MICHSICH HOTEL und Marilù Eustachio HEIMAT bei Kunst Meran um 19.30 Uhr.

After several site visits to the area, Nico Angiuli will present FUTURA, a collective performance on the supply chain of the apple. Together with actors, farmers and interested people from Terlano and its surroundings, the apple supply chain – from hybridising, thinning, harvesting, calibrating and selecting to marketing, buying and eating – will be enacted performatively. How have bodily movements in apple production changed throughout history due to technical, chemical and economic innovation?
FUTURA is part of The Tools’ Dance, a research project (from 2010) that explores the movements of agricultural work through performance. It has already looked at tomatos, tobacco, olives and wine in Spain, Albania and Italy. With FUTURA in 2018 The Tools’ Dance archive is expanding its research to cover the apple supply chain. The research has been commissioned by BAU in Terlano (Bolzano).
In collaboration with Transart Festival and as a follow-up to the research undertaken for FUTURA, BAU organized a series of lunchtime meetings about apples at the Civic Museum of Bolzano on 13, 20, and 27 September 2018.

Nico Angiuli (b. 1981) is an artist who lives and works in Italy and Albania. His performances, films and collective projects reflect on the relation between the human body and technology.
After the performance of FUTURA, BAU would invite interested parties to join us at the opening of Yorgos Sapountzis’ MICHSICH HOTEL and Marilù Eustachio’s HEIMAT exhibition at Kunst Meran at 7.30 pm.

Dopo diverse fasi di ricerca sul posto, Nico Angiuli presenta FUTURA, una performance collettiva sulla filiera della mela. Insieme con attori, agricoltori e persone interessate di Terlano e dintorni, sarà messa in scena la filiera della mela – dall’ibridare, diradare, raccogliere, calibrare, al vendere, pubblicizzare e consumare -. In che modo il corpo del lavoratore ha attraversato le innovazioni tecniche chimiche ed economiche legate alla produzione della mela?
FUTURA fa parte di The Tools’ Dance (La danza degli attrezzi), un progetto di ricerca (2010-in corso), che esplora i movimenti del lavoro agricolo in modo performativo ed e già stato sviluppato per le coltivazioni del riso, tabacco, pomodoro olivo e vite tra Spagna, Albania e Italia. Commissionato da BAU a Terlano nel 2018, FUTURA aggiunge la ricerca sulla mela all’archivio in progress The Tools’ Dance.
Come parte del festival Transart a settembre 2018 come seguito alla ricerca di FUTURA BAU invitava ad una serie di pranzi sulla mela nei giorni del 13, 20 e 27 Settembre 2018 al Museo Civico di Bolzano.

Nico Angiuli (*1981) è un artista che opera tra Italia e Albania, affrontando il rapporto tra corpo lavoro e tecnologia, sviluppando performance, progetti collettivi e film.
