Erbhof Mayr-Unterganzner
Am Ostrand des Bozner Beckens in 285 Meter Meereshöhe auf ortstypischen Porphyrfels gebaut, dort wo der Eggentaler Bach in den tosenden Eisack mündet, liegt der Erbhof Mayr-Unterganzner.Die Familie Mayr kultiviert hier Weinreben seit dem Jahr 1629. BAU konnte 2016 die Familie Mayr-Unterganzner, Josephus und Barbara mit den Kindern Katharina, Veronika, Josef und Anna als Projektpartner gewinnen.
Im Rahmen der BAU Residency 2016 produzierte die Künstlerin Emma Smith in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Erbhof Mayr-Unterganzner den Wein Terratorium, der 2018 nach zwei Jahren Lagerung als Kunstedition verkauft wurde.
The Mayr-Unterganzner Estate
Nestled into the local porphyry on the eastern edge of the Bolzano basin at 285 metres above sea level, the Mayr-Unterganzner Estate is located at the confluence of the Eggental stream and the roaring Eisack river. The Mayr family have been cultivating vines here since 1629. In 2016 the Mayr-Unterganzner family – Josephus and Barbara and their children Katharina, Veronika, Josef and Anna – joined BAU as project partners. In the context of the BAU Residency 2016 and in collaboration with the Mayr-Unterganzner Estate, artist Emma Smith produced a wine called Terratorium, which was sold as an art edition in 2018 after two years of ageing.
Maso Mayr-Unterganzner
All’estremità orientale dell’ampia conca di Bolzano, a 285 m sul livello del mare, costruito sulla roccia porfirica tipica della zona, nel punto in cui il Rio d’Ega confluisce nell’Isarco è situato il maso Mayr-Unterganzner. La famiglia Mayr coltiva qui la vite dal 1629. Nel 2016 BAU è riuscito a ottenere, quale partner di progetto, la famiglia Mayr-Unterganzner, Josephus e Barbara, con i figli Katharina, Veronika, Josef e Anna. In occasione della BAU Residency 2016 l’artista Emma Smith, in collaborazione con il maso Mayr-Unterganzner, ha prodotto il vino Terratorium, che è stato venduto come edizione d’arte nel 2018 dopo due anni di conservazione.
