Auf Fassaden, Fenstern, Säulen und Bodenflächen im öffentlichen Raum in Bruneck begegnen wir von Oktober 2022 bis zur Eröffnung des NOI Techpark Bruneck im Frühjahr 2023 Bewegungsmuster, einer temporären künstlerischen Intervention der in Berlin lebenden Südtiroler Künstlerin Ingrid Hora. Die Künstlerin reflektiert darin das Thema der nachhaltigen Mobilität der Zukunft – Kernelement des zukünftigen NOI Techpark Bruneck.
So wie der Stadtraum als Ökosystem Mensch und Natur einen Lebensraum bietet, wird der neue Sitz des NOI Techpark ein Ort sein, an dem Themen rund um Umwelt und die Mobilität der Zukunft zentral sind. Wie werden wir uns gemeinsam in Zukunft bewegen? Mit wem teilen wir Menschen den Stadtraum, wenn wir uns bewegen, ob zu Fuß, mit Rad, Bus oder Auto?
In ihrer künstlerischen Intervention fügt Hora verschiedene Elemente aus Flora, Fauna und der Automotive-Industrie des Pustertals zusammen und bringt sie in unterschiedlichen Größen und Konstellationen in den gelebten Raum der Stadt. Es entsteht ein dynamisches Muster, das Bewegungen von Tieren, Pflanzen und Technik aufgreift und die Bürger*innen einlädt, diese nicht als gegensätzlich zu betrachten, sondern sie gemeinsam zu denken.
Ingrid Hora ist eine Südtiroler Künstlerin die in Berlin lebt und arbeitet. Durch ihre multidisziplinäre künstlerische Produktion inszeniert Hora Experimente zu sozio-politischen Bedingungen, die beispielsweise das gemeinsame Handeln eines Kollektivs in einem veränderten Kontext untersuchen. Hora studierte Architektur an der Technischen Universität in Wien und absolvierte einen Master am Bartlett University College und am Royal College of Arts in London. 2003 erhielt Hora den Adolf-Loos-Staatspreis und 2018 den Paul-Flora-Preis. Aktuell ist ihre Arbeit u.a. in der Ausstellung Kingdom of the Ill im Museion in Bozen zu sehen.

From October 2022 until the opening of NOI Techpark Bruneck/Brunico in the spring of 2023, we will encounter Patterns of Movement, a temporary artistic intervention by the Berlin-based South Tyrolean artist Ingrid Hora, on façades, windows, columns and floor surfaces in public spaces in Bruneck/Brunico. In this intervention, the artist will reflect on the theme of the future of sustainable mobility – a core element of the future NOI Techpark Bruneck/Brunico.
Just as the urban space as an ecosystem provides a living space for people and nature, the new premises of NOI Techpark will be a place where topics relating to the environment and the future of mobility will be central. How will we move around together in the future? Who do we humans share the urban space with when we are on the move, whether on foot or by bike, bus or car?
In her artistic intervention, Hora combines various elements from the flora, fauna and automotive industry of the Puster Valley and brings them into the living space of the town in different sizes and configurations. The result is a dynamic pattern that takes up the movements of animals, plants and technology and invites citizens not to see them as opposites but to think of them collectively.
Ingrid Hora is a South Tyrolean artist who lives and works in Berlin. Through a multidisciplinary artistic production, Hora stages experiments on socio-political conditions examining i.e. the common action of a collective in an altered context. Hora studied architecture at the Technische Universität in Vienna and holds a master‘s degrees from Bartlett University College and the Royal College of Arts in London. In 2003 Hora received the Adolf Loos State Prize and in 2018 the Paul-Flora Prize. Her work is currently on display at the Museion in Bolzano as part of the exhibition
Kingdom of the Ill.

Su facciate, finestre, colonne e pavimenti nello spazio pubblico di Brunico, da ottobre 2022 fino all’apertura di NOI Techpark Brunico nella primavera del 2023, incontriamo Schemi di Movimento, un intervento artistico temporaneo dell’artista altoatesina Ingrid Hora, che vive a Berlino. L’artista riflette sul tema della mobilità sostenibile del futuro, elemento centrale del futuro NOI Techpark Brunico. Proprio come lo spazio urbano inteso come ecosistema, offre uno spazio vitale per le persone e la natura, la nuova sede di NOI Techpark sarà un luogo in cui sono centrali i temi relativi all’ambiente e alla mobilità del futuro. Come ci muoveremo insieme in futuro? Con chi noi umani condividiamo lo spazio urbano quando ci muoviamo, a piedi, in bicicletta, in autobus o in auto?
Nel suo intervento artistico, Hora riunisce vari elementi della flora, della fauna e dell’industria automobilistica della Val Pusteria e li porta nello spazio vissuto della città in diverse dimensioni e costellazioni. Il risultato è un modello dinamico che riprende i movimenti di animali, piante e tecnologia e invita i cittadini e le cittadine a non considerarli come opposti, ma a pensarli insieme.
Ingrid Hora è un‘artista altoatesina che vive e lavora a Berlino. Attraverso la sua produzione artistica multidisciplinare, Hora mette in scena esperimenti su condizioni sociopolitiche che ad esempio esaminano le azioni congiunte di un collettivo in un contesto mutato. Hora ha studiato architettura alla Technische Universität di Vienna e ha conseguito un master al Bartlett University College e al Royal College of Arts di Londra. Nel 2003 Hora ha ricevuto il Premio di Stato Adolf Loos e nel 2018 il Premio Paul-Flora. Attualmente il suo lavoro è esposto nella mostra Kingdom of the Ill al Museion di Bolzano.
